Alex Lofaro

Graphic Designer

Meet Alex Lofaro, a graphic designer from Springfield, Missouri, whose uncanny attention to detail and artistic talent originated with his passion for college sports. He remembers a childhood full of watching football and basketball games with his family – sparking an unfailing love for Mizzou, and giving him his first exposure to branding. It wasn’t very long before he was drawing team logos on the whiteboard in his dad’s office, applying to the school of his dreams, and landing a position here at MOJO Ad.

For the last few years Alex has worked as a designer for the Mizzou Volleyball team, where he has produced digital graphics, printed recruitment materials and took a lead design role on the art that would complete their facilities renovations. He also does freelance design work all year around, creating logos, graphics and other miscellaneous branding for restaurants, sports teams and bands throughout the United States. Outside of work, he relaxes by listening to music or playing the guitar. After graduation, he hopes to work in-house at an athletics department.

Ben Kochuyt

Copywriter

Ben Kochuyt would have never thought in a million years that he would ever work as a writer, but looking back on it now, that was a pretty stupid thing to think. Writing has been a part of Ben’s life from the very beginning. His earliest memories are him lying on his bed, listening to his dad read stories aloud as he fell asleep. As an only child, he occupied his time either filling his backyard with scenes from his imagination, or burning through book series’ in his room. And the proudest moment of his young life came from delivering a speech he wrote on hotel napkins the night before.

Eventually, after changing majors for the fourth time, he discovered advertising. It was the perfect mix of logic and creativity with infinite room for interpretation and a mandate for genuine human connection. Nothing else even came close. Eventually landing a copywriting position with MOJO Ad, he has worked mainly as a freelance writer for various small companies around the nation. This last summer, he lived and studied in Barcelona, where he worked for an international nonprofit helping them fully rebrand their organization, build a website from scratch, optimize social media strategies and draft emails to board members and constituents. Additionally, he worked directly with designers to produce social graphics, annual reports and various content for the website. After graduation, he plans to return abroad, explore the globe and work for a big city agency.

Megan Molinsky

Digital Specialist

Right now, Megan is in line ordering a cup of coffee. You might not know where, but without some fully charged Dunkin’ or Starbucks, she’ll most likely cease to function. People often ask her, “Megan, why are you so hooked on caffeine? Isn’t that dangerous?” But she doesn’t mind. This Oklahoma native can run on pure, biotic power, but just needs a little kick to get her revved up. Go ahead, quiz the kids she coaches at Authority Gymnastics, and they’ll tell you she can do four back handsprings in a row, a skill honed in her seven years of competitive cheerleading. Test her professors, and they’ll say she hands in assignments faster than they can think up a due date.

Pursuing a dual degree in English and Strategic Communications, she’s currently working on two capstones. As a master multi-tasker, she swears she can finish a book in the walk between classes. And as for her future, her goal is to become a digital strategist at a publishing house to help authors get their works publicized in this increasingly digital world. She’s a fanatic of fiction and a dynamic digitizer. Even though there’s a Dunkin’ Donuts just a few steps from the MOJO Ad office, we tend to run on Megan.

Digital Strategist

Do you ever get that voice in the back of your head telling you that your digital strategist should be able to perform a round-off back handspring double back tuck? Well, we do, and this time we actually did something about it. Meet Ashton Dobson, a four-year division-one cheerleader and digital strategist for MOJO Ad.

When she’s not cheering sideline on game day, she’s building her resume. Last summer, she got hired at Nike News as a narrative & publishing intern in Portland where she helped them re-launch their website, create monthly analytics reports and write articles on upcoming products. She performed so well that she now freelances for Nike News during the school year. She also served as a brand ambassador for Lauren James, where she hosted events, managed social media interactions and created weekly content. After graduation, she wants to try agency life as a digital specialist and move to the Pacific Northwest.
