Kim Long

Kim is #Sharp’s resident fitness fanatic. Working as an instructor at the MU Student Recreation Complex, she whips both students and faculty into shape through kickboxing and circuit classes, relishing in the accomplishment of seeing her charges achieve their exercise goals. And when class is over, she runs some more on her own.

Although it is rare, Kim sometimes has to take a breather, which she somehow manages to fill with internships. Her latest was as a digital brand management intern for Click Here, the digital marketing division of the Dallas-based Richards Group, helping clients understand how paying attention to digital trends can greatly benefit their business.

All that work requires some type of fuel, and for Kim, only the best will do. She’s always on the lookout for new and exciting foods, especially those from other cultures (though describing herself as a “texture person,” any gummy or gelatinous foods are going to be quickly turned down).

It seems like the only person who can slow Kim down is Kim herself, as she is often plagued with one weird injury after another. She’s even managed to receive a concussion after sneezing her way right into a table (a time where “bless you” probably wasn’t quite sufficient).
